These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the EpicDog Training & Adventures website at epicdog.com.au and your access to any of our services. By using our website, submitting an enquiry, making a booking, or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us
EpicDog Training & Adventures (“EpicDog”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a dog training and adventure services business located in Springton, South Australia.

2. Our Services
EpicDog offers the following services (subject to availability and suitability assessment):
- Group Classes — Structured group training sessions for dogs and their owners
- In-Home Training — Private training conducted at your home
- Back to Basics — Foundation obedience training program
- Board & Train — Residential training stays at our facility
- Stay & Play — Dog boarding and socialisation stays
- Virtual Training — Online training sessions via video call
- Adventures & Experiences — Guided dog adventure activities

3. Bookings and Enquiries
3.1 Booking Process
All service bookings begin with an enquiry via the relevant form on our website. Submission of an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking.
3.2 Suitability Assessment
Certain services — particularly Board & Train and Stay & Play — require an approval assessment before a booking is confirmed. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion if we determine that the service is not suitable for your dog or circumstances.
3.3 Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from EpicDog (via email or direct communication). We are not liable for any costs or losses incurred as a result of an unconfirmed booking.
4. Payments
4.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of booking confirmation applies.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via the methods listed at the time of checkout or booking confirmation, which may include credit/debit card (via Stripe), direct bank transfer (BACS), or other methods as offered.
4.3 Deposits and Full Payment
A deposit or full payment may be required to secure certain bookings. Details will be provided at the time of booking confirmation.
4.4 Overdue Payments
If payment is not received by the due date, EpicDog reserves the right to cancel the booking and offer the place to another client.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation by You
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- More than 48 hours notice: Full refund or credit note, at our discretion
- Less than 48 hours notice: No refund; a credit note may be offered at our discretion
- No show: No refund or credit note
Cancellations must be made in writing by emailing contact@epicdog.com.au.
5.2 Cancellation by EpicDog
In the unlikely event that EpicDog must cancel a confirmed booking, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or a reschedule, at your preference.
5.3 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a service has a major failure, you are entitled to a remedy under applicable legislation.
6. Your Dog’s Health and Safety
6.1 Vaccination and Health Requirements
By booking any in-person service, you confirm that your dog:
- Is up to date with core vaccinations (C5 or equivalent recommended)
- Is free from contagious illness at the time of the service
- Has been treated for fleas, ticks, and worms within a reasonable timeframe
- Is not known to be carrying any infectious condition
EpicDog reserves the right to refuse a dog entry to any session or facility if we have reasonable concerns about their health.
6.2 Behaviour Disclosure
You agree to disclose any known behavioural concerns, bite history, or incidents involving your dog prior to commencing any service. Failure to disclose known risks may result in immediate cancellation of services without refund and may expose you to liability for any resulting harm.
6.3 Participation at Your Own Risk
Dog training and adventure activities involve inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that EpicDog is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to you, your dog, or your property arising from participation in our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
7. Training Philosophy
EpicDog uses modern, force-free, positive reinforcement training methods. We do not use aversive tools, punishment-based techniques, or equipment that causes pain or fear. Clients are expected to respect and support this approach. We reserve the right to end any session where our methods are not being followed.
8. Online Shop and Products
8.1 Product Descriptions
We make every effort to accurately describe our products. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.
8.2 Shipping
Products are shipped to Australian addresses only unless otherwise stated. Shipping times and costs are shown at checkout. EpicDog is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers.
8.3 Returns
If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at contact@epicdog.com.au. We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 14 days provided the product is unused and in original condition. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the EpicDog website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and course materials — is owned by or licensed to EpicDog and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EpicDog’s total liability to you for any claim arising from our services or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service or product.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage.
11. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at epicdog.com.au/privacy-policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
