Back to Basics is our foundational 8-week course — the essential starting point for dogs and owners who want real, everyday reliability. Over eight structured weeks we build the core skills that make life together easier and more enjoyable: attention and engagement, loose-lead walking, a solid recall, calm greetings, settling on cue, and confident handling of everyday distractions.

Rather than drilling obedience for its own sake, we teach you how your dog learns, using food and play to create skills that genuinely stick and a relationship built on clear communication. Each week layers new skills onto the last, with practical homework and support so you can practise between classes and see steady, lasting progress.

This course is ideal for puppies who’ve outgrown the basics, newly adopted dogs settling into a home, or any dog and owner wanting to reset the fundamentals with a professional guiding the way.
